Top Four Online RE Forums for Networking

While networking in person is almost always ideal, sometimes it just doesn’t work out. Maybe meetups are scarce where you live, the timing doesn’t align with your schedule, or the topic isn’t exactly what you’re looking for. When in-person meetups aren’t possible, the next best thing is networking through online forums. In Real Estate, there are a few that really stand out from the rest.

1. Bigger Pockets (www.biggerpockets.com)

Bigger Pockets is probably the most well-known Real Estate forum on the Internet. While there are paid opportunities, there are also plenty of things you can do on the site for free. It’s a great site for finding community, seeking advice, and connecting with other like-minded Real Estate professionals.

2. Reddit > Real Estate Investing (www.reddit.com/r/realestateinvesting)

While this one may come as a surprise, Reddit’s subgroup of Real Estate Investing can be a pretty solid resource for advice and connections.

3. Facebook (www.facebook.com)

Real Estate Professionals are extremely active on Facebook. Depending on your location and interests, there are sure to be multiple public and private groups that will cater to what you’re looking for. If you’re in the Lehigh Valley like we are, there is (1) Lehigh Valley Real Estate Investors, (2) Lehigh Valley, PA Off Marker RE Deals, (3) PA Real Estate, and more- some boasting over 20K members.

4. Property Forum (www.propertyforum.com)

Property Forum is great if you’re looking to connect with international investors and professionals from all over the world. There is a section for News, Education, Deals, and a discussion-board style forum.

Of course, if you’re near the Lehigh Valley, you can always connect with us here at Light House and we’d love to network with you. We have monthly meetups, great local realtors, and plenty of properties we manage that often become open for rent or to purchase. Click the button below to connect with us!
